Supported Formats

Aptura supports professional design and document formats. Here's what's preserved for each.

Photoshop (.psd)

Preserved: Layer structure, text formatting, effects, blend modes, smart objects, layer styles

Translated: All editable text layers (point text and area text)

Limitations:

Tip: Keep text as editable text layers, not flattened or rasterized.

Preserved: Slide layouts, animations, transitions, charts, SmartArt, master slides, speaker notes

Translated: All text boxes, shapes with text, table cells, chart labels

Limitations:

Preserved: Formatting, styles, headers/footers, tables, images, track changes

Translated: All paragraph text, headings, table cells, text boxes

Preserved: Formulas, formatting, charts, cell styles, multiple sheets

Translated: Text in cells, headers, chart labels

Note: Formulas remain intact — only display text is translated.

Preserved: Artboards, symbols, layer structure, text styles

Translated: All text layers

Preserved: Vector paths, gradients, transforms, styling

Translated: All <text> and <tspan> elements

Tip: Ensure text is not converted to paths if you want it translated.
